Built By Salt is a Sydney-based residential building company founded by husband-and-wife team Peter and Rebecca Salt. We specialise in high-end new homes, renovations and bespoke alterations, delivering projects defined by exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous planning and genuine attention to detail.

We understand that building or renovating a home is one of life's most significant investments. With more than twenty years of construction experience, Peter leads every project from a technical and construction perspective. His background in Engineering and Project Management enables him to identify challenges early, coordinate complex construction with confidence and work collaboratively with architects, designers and consultants to achieve the highest standard of execution.

Rebecca oversees the financial, operational and administrative functions of the business, ensuring every project is supported by robust systems and seamless communication. Together with our experienced site team and trusted network of skilled trades and specialist consultants, we deliver homes with precision, professionalism and care.

We intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year, allowing us to remain closely involved throughout every stage of construction. It's a deliberate approach that enables us to provide the level of quality, service and attention to detail that has become synonymous with Built By Salt.
